Saint Elijah’s Castle is a faithful replica of strategic towers from the 5th century AD that once stood on the territory of present-day Moldova. This site holds significant historical value and serves as a unique tourist attraction, especially for those fascinated by the medieval era.
Built in 2020, around the celebration of Saint Elijah, the castle was named in his honor—he is considered the spiritual guardian of the structure. The castle captivates visitors with its distinctive character: a medieval ambiance, photo sessions in period costumes, a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view over the village of Cărbuna and its surroundings, and enchanting sunsets seen from above.
For the past four years, Saint Elijah’s Castle has hosted numerous cultural and artistic events, including the Black Bull Festival, Country Wine – Ancestral Wine Celebration, Talent Stage, and Medieval Nights in the Voivodeship of Cărbuna. It is also a central location for themed tours like Digital Detox and Medieval Tours, as well as private events such as graduation balls and celebrations.
